Whoever feeds you can starve you. That is not a threat, it is a principle. If one person, one company, one client, or one opportunity is the only source of what you need, they already have more power over your life than you think. The moment they pull back, you are stuck. The moment they leave, you are lost. Dependence always looks like loyalty until it does not.
This is why you build. This is why you diversify. This is why you never let your entire future sit in somebody else’s hands. Grow your own table. Create your own options. The goal is not to be ungrateful, it is to be uncontrollable. Nobody should have the power to starve you simply because they once fed you.
