@sivanathans Yes, risk changes with threats and vulnerabilities. Existing controls may not be useful if become irrelevant.

Control failure is a risk if the threat environment hasn’t changed as it creates a new vulnerability—a false sense of security. It is not a risk if the threat environment has changed such that the control is no longer useful even if it hasn’t failed.

It doesn’t make sense that the free subscription is account specific when the email states that it is included in the new device purchase. It’s either @apple marketing is bluffing or @AppleSupport is bluffing but blaming @apple marketing for bluffing. Disappointing.

@sivanathans Start with Multi-AZ, then Multi-Region. If they don’t meet your needs, then look at what multi-cloud can do. Multi-cloud will introduce higher complexity with much higher cost. It shouldn’t be your first step.
