I think it stems from the old Comintern times when each country's communist party had the same naming convention: "Communist Party of China," "Communist Party of Vietnam," etc. The "CPC" name comes from back then, it's what the Party calls itself in English, so it's basic courtesy to respect that, just as you say Türkiye and not Turkey.
I think it's also because the usage of the term "CCP" is purposefully used derogatorily by China's adversaries: the Pompeo State Department's switch to calling Xi "general secretary of the CCP" was a deliberate effort to delegitimize Xi's rule and drive a wedge between party and populace. Pompeo actually said so himself when asked about it (https://t.co/i3p8ctXWlc). So it's pretty normal China aren't especially fond of the term...
The White House ballroom really is too small — Trump is right about this one. The Democrats and the mainstream media opposing Trump's expansion of the White House hall are just opposing for the sake of opposing, putting partisan interests above national interests. There's no reasoning with them.
We finally understand why Trump wants to build a bigger hall.
This is the welcome banquet President Xi held for him this May when he was on a state visit to China.
Xi is right. Isn't this what we all truly want anyway? If it were Trump saying these words, the whole nation would applaud him. Instead there are those who would prefer world hell, than come together. Or maybe they just cannot let go of their dominance.
"I am absolutely going crazy right now!"
US teacher Ronald Sakolsky could barely contain his excitement after the Chinese President shared his story with Yin Yuzhen at the White House state dinner.
In an exclusive response to #MediaUnlocked, Sakolsky said their friendship shows that ordinary people from different cultures can get along, adding that the speeches at the White House absolutely "had us in the right direction". #ChinaUS #Friendship

Classic Macron doublespeak.
At the exact same UN conference Denmark signed away Greenland's sovereignty to the US (fact: https://t.co/P7Oxet6fs5) and Macron literally called it "a good thing" (fact as well: https://t.co/rGqHmYQLH3).
When the US attacked Iran back in February, he also issued an utterly Orwellian statement together with Merz and Starmer condemning... Iran (!) and calling Iran to "cease its indiscriminate military strikes" (https://t.co/nKNwDUxiZ7). There was not a word about the US-Israeli aggression when they, of course, were the "empire abusing their powers" and "threatening the sovereignty" of Iran.
