It would great if everyone uses #VFSHorrorStory as a hashtag & share their story tagging @EUCouncil@EUCouncilPress
Here is a story that happened with my nephew & his parents. My nephew was 8months and his parents applied for a Schengen visa in 2023.
He would neither have an email or phone number because he is obviously 8 months old. But @VFSGlobal wanted to charge him also for SMS charges.
Parents were saying that it’s not like only he will get the visa and they won’t & if either one of them don’t - it doesn’t matter whether he gets it or not because the trip won’t happen.
But who will teach logic to these corrupt & conniving folks. All this while, both the parents have paid for that SMS service.
Eventually they gave in because people have to go actual jobs vs. being in front of people whose entire job is to thug you out of your hard earned money.
There are many stories like this - someone who was forced to take new photos (500 for 4) while the visa came with old photos only, a family of 4 forced to buy premium if all had to submit as a group (which is complete miss selling), insurance, delivery insurance, etc.
I just want to create a massive list of complaints that EU can’t ignore against these motherf**kers.

What does it take to get basic accountability from BESCOM?
We've been without power for nearing 4 hours. After repeated follow-ups, we're told a tree branch touching the transformer is the cause, and we're now waiting for the GBA team to clear it.
This is not a new problem. It's happened countless times. If the cause is known, why isn't preventive tree trimming carried out regularly?
Why has the underground cable project that residents pushed for in 2020, and was approved, still not been implemented in 2026?
Why do we continue to operate in crisis mode instead of prevention mode? Do authorities act only after a major accident or loss of life?
Residents deserve answers. This isn't rocket science. We've already mastered that.

This is Soros funded, for sure.
India cannot have quality problems.
We reject this news.
Japan needs to be reminded that we invented 0, we are the birth place of yoga, we are the largest democracy of the world.
And we also overtook you on GDP.
How can a club famed for being fast and clear in their decision making, professional in conduct in the last, deteriorate so much so soon? It's Marc Guehi situation all over again.
Iñaki Ibáñez of IDUB Global is now fully focused on sealing the deal for Xabi Alonso after doing everything in his power, even in recent days, to secure a final commitment from senior Liverpool figures, particularly Richard Hughes, who initiated the first contacts with Xabi Alonso and his agency in December last year, at a time when Alonso was still employed by Real Madrid. It is worth mentioning that both Xabi Alonso and Iñaki Ibáñez are deeply disappointed by Liverpool’s conduct, as the club effectively kept them warm for months while, contrary to several club-friendly media leaks, direct contact had in fact been ongoing for a long time.
I have consistently reported that the message from Liverpool throughout the process was repeatedly the same, the final green light from ownership level was still missing, meaning it was not yet possible to progress towards a written contract. This was the exact line communicated to Alonso’s agency for months and the reason why the operation was never formally advanced despite the extensive groundwork already done behind the scenes. In recent days, however, IDUB Global and Xabi Alonso himself received the clear briefing that Liverpool do not intend to progress any further, which has caused significant frustration on the agency side after months of being led to believe that the only remaining obstacle was ownership approval.
I already reported in January that if Liverpool did not intend to materialise the operation, Xabi Alonso was always more than willing to take over a direct Premier League rival of Liverpool. That scenario is now becoming increasingly concrete, with Alonso’s side fully focused on trying to take over at Chelsea, while Manchester City continue to lurk in the background. The feeling around the agency side is clear, Liverpool had months to turn the operation into a formal agreement, but instead allowed the process to drift behind the repeated explanation that the final ownership green light was still missing. Now, with Liverpool stepping away from progressing any further, Xabi Alonso’s camp is actively moving towards alternative Premier League opportunities.
A woman was gang-raped in a bus in Delhi, yet no TV news channel even bothering to cover the news.
Is this the same India where the media & ppl came together after the Nirbhaya incident and shook the govt?
Or have we, as a nation, collectively given up and become dead inside?
The Indian salaried class has been methodically stripped of every single inflation hedge available to it, one budget at a time.
You tried crypto. They slapped a 30% flat tax on gains, allowed no set-off of losses, and added 1% TDS on transfers.
You tried equities. Budget 2024 raised STCG from 15% to 20%, raised LTCG from 10% to 12.5%, increased STT on F&O, and also killed indexation for most other long-term capital gains.
You thought fine, I’ll diversify some savings abroad through LRS. They put 20% TCS on remittances above 10 lakhs for investments abroad.
You tried Sovereign Gold Bonds, because surely a government-issued, government-backed gold hedge would be the one clean instrument they would not mess with. Then Budget 2026 came along and removed the capital gains exemption for secondary market buyers.
And now the final insult.
The Prime Minister has publicly asked you to avoid buying physical gold for a year in the “national interest,” because gold imports use foreign exchange.
So let me get this straight. A middle class wagie earning in depreciating rupees, watching FD rates hover around 6.5% while real life inflation keeps eating his purchasing power, has now been told:
Crypto is taxed like a vice.
Equities are more expensive to hold and exit.
Foreign diversification gets hit with TCS.
SGBs are being wound down and tax-narrowed.
Buying physical gold is now unpatriotic.
Basically, every single exit from rupee depreciation has been systematically curtailed. You are expected to hold your savings in instruments the government controls, at returns the government sets, for a currency the government is rapidly inflating away.
Does this sound like Amrit Kaal to you?
Joe Gomez on the Anfield boos: "We get it, we understand it. For us older boys who have experienced so many good times here it does hurt. If it didn't then you shouldn't still be here. We want to make it right.
"It's just a reaction to the whole year, and that's fair enough. The fans pay their hard-earned money to come and watch us and they're entitled to show their frustration."
Ryan Gravenberch on the boos from fans:
“To be honest we need them behind us. We don’t win but I think we don’t really deserve this you know. Fans have to be behind us for 90 mins. When they were behind us in the second half we pressed so we needed. Hopefully the next few games they won’t do this anymore.”
Liverpool may be desperate to stick with Arne Slot, but that stance won't withstand the Anfield crowd turning against him. Today felt like that - these fans are just sick of watching a passive, toothless brand of football they have seen for over a year now.
@AjayKumaarJi The video posted by you doesn't have anything where the interviewer repeatedly asks 'why'. When she explains why, he moves on to the next. Not sure what you are referring to
Such a tone dear manager Slot is. Against the entire Anfield, he changes out Ngumoha. Terrible manager who is out of tune with entire fan base #liverpoolFC#SlotOut
Frimpong's lack of creativity and lack of quality is shocking. How can such a player be asked to play on the wings in today's day and age of football where most creativity comes from the wings. #liverpoolFC
You know, I was there in Istanbul, I was there in Madrid. I was in Qatar, I was there last season at the trophy lift and when it was won. I was even there when it was lifted during Covid. I’ve pretty much seen Liverpool lift the lot.
But yesterday was something else.
I didn’t cry at Charlottes Web or Watership Down, but tears were shed yesterday.
And that’s the thing that non-league can do. It can give you times that mean just as much, if not more, than your ‘big’ team winning a trophy. It gives you a true connection and sense of belonging that you don’t get anymore.
If you’ve never been bothered by non-league then honestly, try it. If you’re a normal human being and you feel that disconnect with football, go to your local club. See it for what it is.
You will make memories that’ll last a lifetime.
Wirtz doesn't take care of the ball enough currently. He also doesn't get involved much and is largely isolated on the left or right wing. Mainoo and Cas shut him in the middle. If he's Elite, he needs to do more , Wirtz. Very disappointing #liverpoolfc
This is what Manolo Marquez said in the pre-match press conference, which was later removed. #ISL
“When there are some teams with fewer games (played) in this disaster of competition, then it’s obvious that we need to win. I say disaster because when we play next week, we will have one more game, and there are teams with three or four games pending, and it’s not normal. The team that wins tomorrow will be top of the table, but it won’t be the real top of the table. When you arrive at the final games, you cannot allow this”
Not that I have any hope this will improve the traffic, but for the sake of the ones who are getting inconvenienced for the fancy ideas of the adminstration, I hope this gets completed on time (which am sure wouldn't). Anyways India is thus.
