@ForrestPKnight RSC isn't fundamentally cursed, it would require strict definitions and validations from developers. But it's also missing proper apis from React side, making the whole thing a giant mess.
@wesbos The real issue is that it's trying to be a concise example to deliver the idea but noone in their right mind would actually write it like that. Real implementation would have error handling, validation and a separate handler/data layer that gets called.
@zepfietje If having user confirm their password is an issue, you're likely pushing sign-ups too much anyway. Any genuine user wanting to sign up won't be bothered.
@levelsio People mixing adding new features and maintenance in comments. Obviously developing things requires involvement but otherwise servers just run. Just don't involve third parties unless absolutely necessary. Majority of apps are usual CRUD stuff anyway so it can be all local.
@dissproportion Complete nonsense, making a big deal out of something that noone used to care about. It would be much better to just stop talking about race and live.
@tunguz A lot of the "work" could have been automated 15 years ago using sensible business processes and if-else tier python scripts. Or even just knowing how to use a computer properly.
Essentially people spend a half of the day copypasting...
@joshtriedcoding Maybe I don't want to use my gaccount on every random page. Also email/username+ pass is so much more comfortable to use, just input and hit enter. No waiting for messages, emails etc.
