Roblox support and moderation need improvement. | Monitoring and critiquing harmful patterns | Advocating for accountability and ethics in the Roblox ecosystem
@DavidBaszucki@kevinroose Question: How does Roblox classify off-platform Robux giveaways that require likes, follows, and retweets to enter, when they function like sweepstakes for a mostly minor audience and Roblox still receives a 30% cut through gamepass payouts?
@Roblox On Sept 6, in the Roblox game FISCH, kids saw live chat messages promoting Telegram with explicit words. Telegram is well known for predator and scam activity (see Nth Room case in Korea)
This is dangerous for children. Roblox needs to review how this was allowed.
To everyone complaining about Gen Z, let's take a look at the evidence:
Young adults today are more empathetic, less narcissistic, more open-minded, more inclusive, and more patient than their predecessors. Bullying and drug use are also down.
The kids might be all right.
This is not bullying. It is a violent criminal act showing a profound lack of empathy.
A teenage boy attacking a girl when she was already down is an abuse of power imbalance. It is pure cruelty.

Using #Roblox, #robloxshorts, #fisch and attaching Roblox as the official game category to promote relationship/e-dating content is not accidental SEO
At the same time, the channel still uses #Roblox hashtag and Roblox titles for search engine optimization in video descriptions for reach, while the content and thumbnails sometimes include heavy profanity and aggressive language
Youtuber Pwned does not really rely on constant like, subscribe, or Discord plugging (pushing viewers to move off Youtube into their Discord server), which is good

Note
- Roblox/Fisch tags are being used
- those tags are associated with a youth-heavy discovery ecosystem
- the content is relationship/e-dating themed
- that creates a mismatch in audience expectation vs content type
