Attack Today with Enthusiasm - If you want an exciting life, get excited about life. Don’t just go through the motions. It doesn't have to be like that. Remember your WHY today. We don't get burned out because of what we do. We get burned out because we forget why we do it.
Thanks to The Epsilon Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for inviting us to talk about Mentor Upstate. They had their chapter retreat in Spartanburg and invited us to train their members to be mentors in their community.
The words we speak matter. They help to shape the world around us. That’s why I believe we need to speak words of truth and hope not only to ourselves but to others as well. Here are 20 things we should say more often if we want to make the world more positive.

The stakeholder surveys this past year reinforced what GCS Trustees and administration have been strengthening for several years - the academic potential of a student can’t be realized without a healthy mental and emotional base- more support is crucial.
Let’s stop telling students we are preparing them for the real world.
