@PaulDaleNT Should keep you out of trouble for a while! Found Bryce Courtenay's Jessica which was gifted to me by my friend who just passed, with a note from her inside - I'll be re-reading that for sure.
Back from the pits of what's been the worst week of my life (so far, I think), losing a very dear friend in childbirth, in Australia, in 2021. Her newborn didn't make it either. It's wild to think maternal mortality is still a thing here.
@crazymalaysian Thanks Iz. Her loss hits close to home because we have the privilege not needing to think we (or your partner) might not come out alive after having a baby.
Covid has made things extra hard in times like these, where you can't just hop on a plane and be with others who are just as devastated as you. Or if you do, you can end up stranded, like my friend's brother.

@lizzytrevaskis Look, I thought about it, but I was rushing to get home to my own little darlings (whose umbilical stumps I have also kept in individual ziploc bags).
Funny how I drew the line at bringing the placenta home with me 🤷♀️
Was listening to @lizzytrevaskis on the drive home asking if it was normal to keep your child's baby teeth. I know for a fact my parents still have my umbilical stump from 35 years ago in a plastic bag stapled into a genealogy book, so there's that.
@DoUBelieveInDog Oh for sure it will be challenging, though it was written in the 40s? 50s? I imagine for that time girls adventuring was pretty out there! I like to think we set a good modern example at home, with mum going to work and dad home looking after the baby and doing the housework✌
@paper_indy The only kind of croc you wouldn't run away from screaming on the beach. Although....😆
Love the earrings, the celestial theme is very in at the moment is it not.
