President Mahama Returns from the UK and Visits Belarus
H. E @JDMahama has returned to Ghana after official visits to the UK and Belarus, securing key investment and cooperation agreements. In the UK, he announced the Ghana–UK Growth and Investment Partnership, with agreements covering a ship repair facility in Takoradi, afforestation in the Oti Region, AI training, and healthcare capacity building. H.E also held talks with UK's prime minister Keir Starmer and met King Charles III.
In Belarus, President Mahama secured agreements on trade, agriculture, chamber cooperation, and a visa waiver arrangement, alongside plans for technical support to boost Ghana’s agricultural productivity. The president was received on arrival by vice president Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, chief of staff Julius Debrah, and other senior government officials.
