Teaching #LongWayDown by @JasonReynolds83 has been the absolute best experience. Kids are reading ahead. Asking if they can stay after school to listen. Audibly reacting. Digging deep. We are having the best discussions. (1/4)

Absolutely not! My Ss are engrossed in this novel, and they are pulling out incredible insights about the figurative levels of the book. Reynolds is a masterful writer. This story is powerful, and the text is rich. Highly recommend! (3/4)
