@azzilathehun @mhurton @emilderosa 3. like the federal government each of these roles have set responsiblities. the mayor, drafts budgets, signs off on council legislation, appoints heads of departments, manages day-to-day, and is our representative to the rest of the state/country.

we vote for people who we think to be qualified/educated enough to make informed decisions on our behalf — not individual ideas. it’s why congress can have confidential meetings we’re not privy to
