Had two guys shatter their Peak Velocity records by 3mph.

Leblanc up to 77mph and Markwood up to 72mph.

Plus walking guys through a recovery day they can do in between outings while away from the team.

The @GuelphEliteBSB pitching staff averaged a 5.1mph peak velocity gain from the Fall of 2018 to the end of the 2019 Off-Season.

Today some P’s threw baseline velocity bullpens to measure progress from the Fall.

All P’s that threw are up 4mph since Sept.

2022 Cam Hewitt hitting 89mph Exit Velo with -3 wood last night.

3 consecutive swings 86, 87, 89.

Was up to 82mph off the mound last summer.

Really psyched to start collecting data on all our guys during their bullpens.

This was a big area of improvement going into this season. Safe to say I stepped up my game.

Excel workbooks for each P - formulas to track bauer units, strike %, avg velo, and more.

During the mound blending phase of our pitching program we are not only getting reaclimated to the mound by using plyos and mini bullpens.

We are also begining to push more high intent throwing. Shown here is week 1 numbers of compression throw testing.

Last night was the first week of compression throw testing for @GuelphEliteBSB

Hewitt leading the charge with an 85mph throw - team avg of 72.7.

Looking forward to seeing these numbers progress in the coming weeks.
