USA has ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok.

China has DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi.

And everyone is asking:

India has what? 🇮🇳

The answer isn’t “nothing.”

Sarvam has already built and open sourced 30B and 105B models trained from scratch in India.

India may not have its OpenAI moment yet.

But the pieces are starting to come together.

Talent. Users. Languages. Compute. Homegrown models.

The interesting question is who turns all of that into India’s first globally important AI company.

Dubai isn’t just talking about AI anymore.

The UAE wants 50% of government services and operations running with Agentic AI within two years.

Dubai is pushing the private sector in the same direction.

And the Cabinet already has 32 AI advisers helping analyse policies and decisions.

This feels less like “AI adoption” and more like redesigning how an entire city and government operate.

This is the Grok story I find more interesting.

SpaceXAI is having people try to build an entire company in 72 hours with Grok Bot as the team.

Not just generate a landing page.

Actually research, build, operate and ship.

Meanwhile Grok 4.8 is already training.

AI companies aren’t just competing on who has the smartest chatbot anymore.

They’re competing on who can actually do the work.
