Interesting analysis! I'd also look at when revenue was recognized as a factor, but the scale is very hard to ignore.

TWICEやNiziUが所属するJYPの4〜6月、8組が64公演も回したのに公演売上が前年同期比35.7%減ということで気になっています。去年の4〜6月は4組54公演で620億ウォン、今年は8組64公演で399億ウォンです。組数も公演数も増えているのに、売上だけが落ちています！

去年この期にいて今年のIR上にいないのが、Stray Kidsでした。

✅26年2Q：売上1,831億ウォン（前年同期比−15.1%）、営業利益310億ウォン（同−41.4%）
✅公演した組数は25年2Qの4組から8組へ。公演数は54→64
✅ただし25年2QはStray Kidsが23公演で、その四半期の公演の4割を1組が占めていました

去年の4〜6月、Stray Kidsはブラジル3・ペルー1・メキシコ2・日本4・米国12・カナダ1を回っています。しかも会社の説明によれば、北米・欧州・南米で13会場がスタジアムでした。今年の4〜6月、Stray Kidsの公演は資料の表に1本も載っていません。

代わりに動いたのが、TWICE23・DAY6 11・ITZY7・Xdinary Heroes 7・NMIXX6・NiziU4・NEXZ4・2PM2の8組です。組数を倍にして、公演数も10本増やして、それでも去年の6割強にしかならない。

面白いのはここからで、JYP自身が今回それを認めています。決算資料6ページの見出しが「26年下半期および27年 Stray Kids IPレバレッジ本格化」で、音楽・公演・MDの3列とも中身が全部Stray Kidsです。他の組は1つも出てきません。

過去10本の決算資料をさかのぼると、「Stray Kids IP」という言葉が使われたのは今回が初めてでした。

グループを増やせばリスクが分散する、という話をよく聞きます。でもJYPは2024年以降だけでGIRLSET・NEXZ・KickFlip・CIIU・OURBIRTHDAYと5組デビューさせていて、その上でこの決算です。組数が増えることと、四半期の売上が安定することは別なんだなと思いました。

下半期はStray Kidsのワールドツアー〈RUN IT〉が公表分でアジア9都市18公演、9月にブラジルのRock in Rio、南米で自社フェスのSTRAYCITY。上半期の公演売上808億ウォンに対して、この18公演がどこまで積むか。次の決算がそのまま答えになります。

And so we did, son in tow, and we had a great time even if we didn't actually attend the concert. We couldn't beat the Queue Monster.

Instead we hung out with @leehan5, watched the drone show, and pushed the boy's pram around while eating lots of cold noodles.

Life is still kicking my ass. The new agency I put up is still not even breaking even, so I am broke, broke, broke. I burned out a few weeks ago.

In the middle of that, the wife said she wanted to go to Busan for BTS.
