Because there’s nothing great about it. I don’t even know if I need to explain this, because haven’t we all watched the same thing? And these are pretty obvious points.
For a character to be well-written, we need to at least see how she’s developed so we can form an opinion about her, but the writer doesn’t delve into Mikasa’s inner world we can’t even see her emotions, what she’s feeling, or what she’s thinking. She has only one purpose in life: to protect Eren. She’s a very one-dimensional character. Even though she’s the deuteragonist, she’s overshadowed by other side characters, like reiner zeke and Annie. She's the main female character in that story, but despite that, she's a very bland character.
