@1984_nate@TradReform Actually, they don't know. Like I said once, we have a crisis of comprehension on our hands. They have a logic system that's messed up. So the way to extrapolate is warped. They are not deliberately doing it. What needs fixing is their logical framework for extrapolating ideas.
@TrygstadBryan@1984_nate Why are you wilfully missing his point?
His point is that the passage says the believer was raised - given life - with Christ, not so as he may be capable of faith, but THROUGH faith. This means that the believer had to have faith in place in order to be raised - given life.
@TrygstadBryan@1984_nate If I may ask: What you understand by God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself? Are you saying it means that God already reconciled the world to himself?
@1984_nate Like I've always maintained, we have a crisis of comprehension on our hands. Many simple truths have been corrupted by the lack of good grasp of simple English grammar by saints.
This is why I have been advocating for better grammar comprehension for sound Scripture understanding
@adeoluadeyinka@NigeriaStories States do not have the problem because they are not under FG. They are independent. FCT is under the FG and so needed the exception so it can act like a state.
@OlabisiZoey This bone of contention is not that salvation is not eternal but that it is not eternal yet the moment a person believes. It is after you have continued till the end that you receive it completely. Before then, you can be disqualified.
@Chainsaw59598@1984_nate God did't ordain evil into men's hearts in order to determine for Jesus to be killed by them. They had harbored the desire since his first year but could not actualize it because Jesus did not give himself to it, not until. God instructed him to not evade them anymore.
@ContraYoshi@1984_nate There is faith as a capacity and there is faith as an act or exercise.
God can give you sight (capacity to see) and you would still choose not to see. God can give you persuasion and you would choose to not exercise it toward Jesus. Faith exercised is what saves.
@egi_nupe I doubt the sincerity of the governor. Why does he not first outlaw it in his state and set the ball rolling. Was that not how sharia was passed across the northern states? Why wait for the FG to outlaw something you can outlaw?
@Ihunanya_chi It was not often. It was just one one occasion. You are probably confusing the times when he told people not to publish some miracle that he did with the one time he told his disciples not to reveal his identity as the Messiah.
@ogundamisi@fkeyamo Sir, this is a project to extend an existing rail line so it has a terminal at the airport. It is not about Ikeja. It is about making rail transport an alternative option for commuting in and out of the airport to and fro anywhere the rail line passes through.
NIGERIAN ROAD NETWORK - ~196,000KM
Nigeria's road network spans approximately 196,000 kilometres.
Federal Roads - ~35,000
State Roads - ~30,000
Local Govt Roads - ~130,00
Of that entire stretch, only about 60,000km have been paved since 1960 - leaving roughly 135,000km unpaved.
Do the mathematics yourself.
31% paved. 69% bare earth - after decades of governments who campaigned on development.
So when people parade a phantom "glorious era" before your eyes like a mirage in the harmattan, ask them to show you the roads. Ask them where the kilometres went. Ask them who paved what - and for whom.
Now. This government. This Asiwaju.
In Northern Nigeria alone - the same North that the merchants of disaffection claim is boiling with rage against Tinubu:
✔ 135 road projects completed.
✔ 216 road projects currently under construction.
✔ 312 road maintenance projects completed.
✔ 50 more ongoing.
These are not promises. They are not manifesto nuggets. They are concrete, asphalt, and will.
So I ask you plainly - do you truly believe the North is displeased with this administration?
No.
You are the angry one. You, who have made a vocation of misery. You, who need the North to be enraged because your political project requires a villain in Abuja. You, who speak for the North without ever consulting the North.
Do not put your bitterness in other people's mouths.
Do not misrepresent the good people of Northern Nigeria.
Good Morning Severally...
@AdefenwaAbraham@LegendaryJoe From where did the leaders learn corruption? From among us or when they got to the top?
Each time I see one of us quick to treat our leaders as villains and we as victims in our situation, I grieve bcos it reminds me how we are unaware that we are the bad tree bearing the fruit.
@rabbriansamuel I believe it qualifies as food sacrificed to an idol from which we are to flee. Moreover, the food celebrates what voids the foundation of our faith. For if Ishmael is the one offered as sacrifice and substituted, the promise made in Isaac ceases to be Jesus and we are doomed.
@NaijaOclock@sinaayinde@LegendaryJoe Pardon me, but this does not corroborate your claim.
The claim was that you can get a loan based PURELY ON EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND. What you posted shows that loans are granted UK CITIZENS without a requirement for education. Even Nigerian banks do this. This is a separate thing.
