@Chapman_Histo It honestly looks like plastics. Does have a weird focal response when adjusting the focus to the rest of the tissue? Almost like it stays in focus at more focal planes than the tissue?
@Chapman_Histo That is hilarious. So that is a mitochondria hanging out in the lumen of the capillary and it's wrapped in the membrane of the endothelial cell? I wonder if this could slow down blood flow through the capillary?

@SelinaWray I realize the author is female, but I still find it odd that this article was not written about the male 19 previous finishers of the Barkley Marathon. It was the first women finisher that inspired the article.
@HannahThurgur@Maclomaclee This effect could be simple regression to the mean and/or self selection bias. So to conclude it's an effective treatment is a bridge too far.
