LAST CHANCE: Great #OER language conference this Sat. March 5 with @COERLL and @UnivOfKansas OLRC - registration closes noon Friday CST: https://t.co/yXtRh7R1HT with @meredithjacob on @creativecommons licensing, copyright, and publishing OER!
So @tceles_B_hsup can this be a hypothetical in our next conversation about copyright, OER, and student created works? (I’ll put your name on those slides . . .)
Listening to @sabiaprescott talking about the importance of open content being designed to be inclusive and culturally responsive from the start rather than being adapted after the fact. #GoOpen#OER
Always great to hear from @barbarasoots about the OER policy work in Washington state - they’ve been such a leader in sharing the policy docs out of @waOSPI_OER - one of the best places to look for k-12 OER implementation #GoOpen@GoOpenNetwork
@icmcwaffle@kerryguiliano@LMS_United Thanks! We just released a best practices on fair use for OER, too it’s at https://t.co/NDJb96H3lS - happy to talk fair use as copyright any time. I’ll send you a message!
SPARC’s Heather Joseph has spent 30+ years working in scholarly communications to advance a system of sharing knowledge that is open by default and equitable by design. Listen to her take on the open movement and call for equity in this @NISOInfo lecture: https://t.co/u6mhVsxg1I

To summarize:
1. All dogs are good dogs.
2. Some dogs are also useful for identifying if another dog is a dog.
3. Every single one of us has chosen the wrong career path except for the authors of this study.
Happy weekend.
@ESenack What could we have done in local organizing with the roughly $1 billion donated through ActBlue since September 1? What would $5 million a year mean in each state for local organizing. Not to mention the hours people spent calling, texting and knocking doors in the last ten days.
Congress has the constitutional power to avoid a lot of this chaos by prescribing, among other things, uniform pre-canvassing rules (and mail-in ballot receipt deadlines) for federal elections.
Whatever result you’re rooting for, I have to think we’d all be better off that way.
