You do know that women's single sex facilities such as toilets and changerooms are not even remotely similar to men's clubs and societies, don't you?

Women's sport is also nothing like a golf club that barred women from playing.

Our single sex services and facilities such as support groups for breast cancer and rape survivors aren't based on the same principles that saw women excluded from pubs.

And you also know that there are men's clubs and societies that exclude women still operating today, don't you?

And, I'm sure you know, that men are capable of organising to protect their single sex clubs and societies, aren't you?

And if you look into the particular clubs and associations that are now open to membership to women, you'll probably find that the justifications to exclude women were pretty flimsy - as found by institutions such as the American Supreme Court.

Many other previously men only establishments voted themselves to include women.

The Bad Feminists Ruined everything for men argument is complete bollocks and is mostly spread by people who haven't bothered to check for themselves what, how, and why men's clubs and societies eventually opened up membership to women.

But in any event, if you are keen on joining a men's only club and/or society - you can still find them - or start your own.

You can even do what women are doing and start a resistance to the destruction of men's spaces, sports and services by women.

That would be far more useful.

This woman doesn’t have an issue with some males that mimic women getting their dicks out in front of women and girls without their consent, but has an issue if men that don’t mimic women do the same thing in female spaces.

Equality does not necessarily mean pretending differences don’t exist.

Sometimes achieving equal treatment requires acknowledging meaningful differences.

That is particularly important in conversations involving sex, reproduction, physical ability, medicine, athletics, and privacy. You can’t meaningfully discuss equality if you’re forbidden from discussing the differences that make the issue relevant. #equality #womensrights #feminism

Environmentalism can focus on the environment.

Labor movements can focus on workers.

Disability advocacy can focus on disabled people.

So asking what population feminism is organized around isn’t an attack on feminism.

One is a political framework historically centered on women’s position in society; the other is a broader principle about equality.
