President Trump just attended a high-stakes G7 summit in Canada.
One by one, reporters fired off questions — and Trump delivered Major Revelations directly to the American people.
Here's everything you should know (and no joke, it gets crazier the further you read):

MACA: Make Affordable College Again
https://t.co/7LGibyxTqS
Aren’t colleges and universities doing everything to antagonize the average American? Not many young men feel like spending money for college is worth it anymore. It doesn’t have to be that way if you remove government accreditation of colleges and tax subsidizing of that BS.
How many know the average taxpayer pays $5,297 over their lifetime to subsidize the stuff (many call it crap) that is done at Colleges/Universities?
Deregulate Colleges/Universities. Abolish the Higher Education Act while returning to pre-World War 2 era non-involvement of government with higher education, use AI & Zoom innovation to "get more bang" for the dollar.
Costs will drop by more than 70% in some situations. Stop the subsidization of tax dollars to colleges/universities. Give taxpayers who favor helping such a double-value tax deduction. Leave alone the other taxpayers. These multi-value tax deductions do not exist yet but they easily could. Imagine after donating $1 to something eligible for a triple-value tax deduction, you’d reduce your taxable income by $3 then!
I earlier wrote about how K-12 education through deregulation can be more than cut in half. It’s even more dramatic if you look at the costs of college/university education!
This article explores a history-grounded but forward-looking proposal to reform U.S. higher education by abolishing the Higher Education Act (HEA) and federal student aid, transitioning to a privatized system with private accreditation and AI-driven online learning. This research was assisted by X’s newest AI, Grok 3’s DeepSearch.
Currently, a four-year Civil Engineering degree costs $40,000–$120,000, and taxpayers fund $149 billion annually in subsidies, contributing $5,297 each over their lifetime in 2024 dollars, a burden often falling on low-income Americans through regressive taxes.
Those who don’t go to college should not tax-subsidize those who end up becoming their bosses!
The proposed system could slash tuition to $25,000–$35,000—a 50-70% reduction—by using AI and Zoom to scale education, enabling one professor to teach hundreds of students while focusing on learning outcomes rather than campus expenses.
This approach eliminates the $5,297 lifetime tax burden per taxpayer, saving $149 billion annually, a dramatic contrast to the status quo where combined tuition and tax costs can burden a student-taxpayer by up to $125,297.
Funding would shift to privatized education mortgages, where students borrow from private lenders and repay based on future income, addressing the moral issue of taxing the poor to benefit future high earners.
Fraud protections would rely on the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, contract law, and state laws.
The implementation plan involves phasing out federal aid over 5–10 years, promoting AI and online learning, and strengthening consumer protections through pilot programs and continuous evaluation.
Despite challenges like ensuring equity and quality, this vision promises a more affordable, accessible education system, saving students and taxpayers thousands while redirecting billions to other priorities.
I’ve long said the country’s root problem is with tax-funded public education which started as an anti-Catholic ethnic hate movement in Massachusetts in the early 1800s.
The literacy scores entering buck privates got in both the pre-revolution American colonial military and the post-US revolutionary war surpass those of entering buck privates in the 1980s onward. Tax-funded education has been the biggest self-inflicted wound the US has ever done to itself. Convince me otherwise.

@resisres This is so dumb. Those territories were conquered and settled by the United States. And since have become much better places to live than if they were under Mexican rule. Maybe it's time we conquered the rest of Mexico
@harryjsisson Wow, you have Biden in your background, the guy who wasn't to be disturbed before 10 or after 3 and spent the most time on vacation than any president? And Trump won the trade war so.......
Just listened to Biden's full farewell address. I don't think his speechwriters did him any favors. This speech will not be remembered as a great speech or a poor one. It simply won't be remembered at all.
Biden's legacy is that he will not leave one. He will be a footnote in history - the man who was elected to defeat his predecessor, but did such a poor job that voters decided to return that predecessor to the Oval Office.
Biden had a short window in which he could have been a good president, but squandered that opportunity when his ego convinced him he should attempt to be a Great one. He could be leaving office being hailed as the president who returned normalcy and humbly stepped away from power after one term.
Instead, he was replaced as his party's candidate when they realized he was leading them toward a historic loss, was unable to get his vice president elected, and will leave office as one of the most unpopular presidents in recent American history. Biden's story almost sounds like a tragedy, but it is not.
A tragedy is a story in which a noble man or hero is brought down by a fatal flaw. Joe Biden was never a noble man, or even a particularly good one. He is a contemptible man who managed to succeed despite his flaws because he spent his career as one of many, and failed when he reached an office where his deficiencies were finally on full display.
Biden's farewell address was a disjoined series of outward pleasantries hiding an angry, bitter core beneath. Which actually makes it a fitting end to his long, undistinguished, career.
