I used to think being open minded was a common trait, till I joined twitter.

My mum taught me how to cook many dishes, but every time I see someone else cook it differently, I’m intrigued. I bookmark it. I try it out because I’ve found that different recipes give a particular dish different flavors and taste.

Take Egusi for instance - Fried Egusi, tastes different from boiled Egusi. One has a sweet taste to it, the other has a tang to it. And both go just well depending on what your palate is craving.

My mother never added sugar to her pottage and it was one of my best meals. Yet, I learned the sugar way and both, has their flavor.

Sometimes I want to fry my tomatoes, sometimes I want to boil it. Very different flavors.

My biggest ick is a person who thinks their way is authority, because in the grand scheme of things, what do you really know? Who really are you? Your hand-me-down? Your little communal way should be the norm for the vast majority of different people from different backgrounds?

“My mummy taught me”, you’d think these other people are motherless.
Okay, maybe their mother didn’t teach them, but at some point in history, someone thought to get creative and came up with the “traditional” recipes we have today.

Live. Enjoy the varieties of life. If you don’t like it, best believe there’re 10 other people who’ll like it in your stead, because after all, variety is the spice of life.

Funny thing about this drug aka "Indomethacin" is that a lot of people misuse it for headache, body pains.

Adire and Ankara can’t be the uniform for all NYSC members across the country. We are all not from the SW region.

The current uniform is sexless, detribalized and smart.

NYSC is still one of the few programmes that genuinely promotes national unity by exposing young Nigerians to different cultures, people and ways of life.

Rather than focusing on cosmetic changes like uniforms or ceremonies, we should be addressing the real issues affecting the scheme and investing in practical, long-term entrepreneurship education.

The FG should rethink this.
