And on it goes. Having heard nothing from @Eurostar , I tried to claim compensation (just 75% for a 24 hour delay - shocking) and the online system rejects it. I tried to phone - 40 minute wait time. I just want to claim a voucher. Appalling service. What do I do?
@Eurostar it has been 28 working days since we submitted our refund request with no response. one of the other people on the trip attempted to phone today and after being on hold for 2 hours was kicked from the line with no response. this is unacceptable customer service.

@brandonhurlber1 Well that's just plainly the wrong letter! (And yes I know, no version of English can claim consistency between spelling and pronunciation... 😂)
This year my uni even reneged on the light snacks. If we volunteer for an open day (usually weekends) or for summer schools we used to get a £5 voucher for lunch at a uni venue. Which wouldn't even cover one of their sandwiches plus a drink. But they pulled even that this year.

Pleased to share that the podcast series I worked on for @UoMReligion and @McrJewStudies is out now, exploring the Jewish context of the New Testament.
'What Would Jesus the Jew Do?' is available in all your usual pod places with additional resources at https://t.co/XwFs3oSeDP
Who teaches or has taught ancient Hebrew at a UK uni?
I’d love to hear from you!
I’m doing a little research into methods of teaching Hebrew and I would like to have short (c. 30min) chats online with anybody who is happy to share their experience!
Please DM or email :)
Calling anyone who learned Ancient/Biblical Hebrew at a UK university!
I'm doing a survey on what are called 'communicative teaching methods' ie teaching it like a modern language. I would love your input!
