If you can show and prove you’re capable of doing the work through your own reading and studying, that’s what really matters. The reality is, by the time you’re my age (40ish), most people are too tired or too entrenched in their careers to give a shit. But my curse is that I can’t forget.
So here’s what I’ll say to the younger crowd: I never needed college, no matter what they all said. I’m retired now. All my friends who went to college are in debt and can’t afford to have a family, and it’s fucking sad. Some of them are even lawyers, and one that’s a doctor who’s still 200k+ in debt bro.
If I could do it again, I’d go straight to trade school and become an electrician without a second thought, them nigs pushing 400k+ once they get master status and have no debt… or hvac bro those dudes can retire in like 20 years
