@CoachBeede Love your stuff - respectfully disagree - some of the “work” requires the 50+ grounders , flies, some of the younger guys 13-14 , first time big field problems need help with confidence as pitchers get better and some coaches can help with them dealing with the failure imo
@tommylugauer Nothing is bright until baseball people make baseball decisions - IF dominating on 82 pitches thru 7 and getting the hook, how about pulling the infield in inexcusably with the go ahead run on 2nd as the home team - some pencil neck decisions - let baseball people run the show
@CommishFilmRoom I watch about every game - said when they signed him within 5 years he HAS to be a DH, defensively 100% behind Benge, Ewing Taylor and Young when he’s out there and Robert Jr if/when healthy - and the biggest part is effort is 90% of the issue - tremendous hitter - no question
@CoachBeede Unintended consequences - some 18yr old who has been doing everything right off the field is going to hurt some kid just playing HS baseball. This is a huge risk as there is about 7–10 levels of “varsity” player skill from D1 ready all the way down to no JV team so plays V
@CoachSwit Not unpopular at all- 99% of kids will never “have” to use a wood bat - use a wood bat to train - sure, but no need for wood bat tourneys
Agree with you
@notgaetti Respectfully disagree - usz agree - but Pinella fought Dibble, Martin could’t control Jackson, Mussina waved off Torre, Maddux waved off Cox all in the heat of competition - this is another example of the Star wanting to star - I don’t believe this is a reflection of Vitello
@Seth_3773 Life long Met fan, Soto is a great talent - that being said, hustle has to be the ground floor - no excuse should have been lifted - losing with him can lose without him. If you can’t hustle you can’t play - no anger, no outrage, don’t care what he’s making - effort is expected
@Seth_3773 Agree, just lift him from the game and a 15 second conversation to say - you getting paid like a leader - hustle is the ground floor - my 2 cents - it’s all over the place now as many mangers have had their balls cut off by analytics and gms - making baseball decisions
@StevenACohen2@SNY_Mets first 51 games we made 27 outs swinging for HRs, how about we do anything , something different - bunt a ball, steal a base, change the approach at the plate - playing infield on 0-0 on the 2nd inning is waving a white flag - scripted lineups - enough !
Please stop this s# show been a 50+ year fan. If it’s been Mendoza moves fire him, if it’s been Stearns pulling in game strings fire him, if it’s the analytics team that makes the line up and pre-scripted moves fire them - this is among the ugliest brand of baseball in my life

@DannyAbriano Respectfully disagree, Vientos was supposed to be along with PETE not replace - Robert and Polanco were intended to make up for Pete - Pete is/was underrated as a glove because of his throwing - since glove is 75% or more of the position Mets have not replaced - my 2 cents
