@Herenamaste@Jigglyboyz@zerowontmiss It has a 96% critic score and 94% audience score on RT, did $17.2 million on opening weekend, and has cleared over $100 million so far since opening two weeks ago. It think it’s fair to say that people like it.
@Overly_Bored@damintoell@tedcruz According to Philippians 2:6-7, Jesus was “in the form of God” before he “took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.” In short, beings in Heaven transcend male and female (Matt 22:30) but can take the likeness of them onto themselves (Heb. 13:2).
@Timodc, after hearing you mention orange wine a bunch, I finally bought a bottle of Somos Naranjito 2022 for my and my wife’s 21st anniversary. We LOVED it and will definitely be trying more. Got any favorite brands that we should try?
@JorgeARMaio@joni_askola Neither of which has anything to do with the fact that he is underwater on most polls. All you’re saying is that we have almost three more years of a historically unpopular president. Don’t know what your point was with minorities. Try to stay on topic in the future.
@j_larson5@allenanalysis@elonmusk Fun fact: the OBBB cut taxes on the wealthy and corporations at the expense of public services like Medicaid. This is the current state of play. In what world does that magically turn around in the next few years? Unless you’re pining for an extreme Leftist government … ?
@MBULTRA_@Goodmoisturizer@ChrisBe86155726@j_larson5@allenanalysis@elonmusk Do you like 12 year olds not dying in coal mines, having weekends off, and a standard 40 hour work week? Thank labor regulation, unions, and worker protections from the government. Corporations have proven that they’ll grind workers into dust in pursuit of profit.
@MBULTRA_@Goodmoisturizer@ChrisBe86155726@j_larson5@allenanalysis@elonmusk So … more regulation and bigger government? You literally cannot have it both ways. Read up on food adulteration in Victorian England. Corporations, unfettered by government oversight, will absolutely harm and kill citizens in pursuit of profit. Full stop.
@Sehri_Balouch@LogicalWatcher@Martin129446771@mb_ghalibaf The person I responded to seems to be laboring under the idea that only AI uses em dashes. That is clearly not the case, as it is a perfectly legitimate punctuation mark. I was merely pointing out that AI tends to use it in a predictable way that most humans don’t.
@Sehri_Balouch@LogicalWatcher@Martin129446771@mb_ghalibaf The entire corpus of human literature was used as training data for LLMs. Pick up any novel from the 1800s, and I can almost guarantee that you’ll see multiple em dashes on every page. Austen, Twain, Melville, the Brontës, and more made liberal use of the punctuation.
@LogicalWatcher@Martin129446771@mb_ghalibaf Real people use em dashes all the time to interject a related thought into a sentence. AI usually uses them to add an addendum to the end of a sentence to serve as a “therefore” statement. At any rate, AI learned to use em dashes because they are frequently used in literature.
@jessew22@SynchedLogic@jonfavs So you’re basing your opinion of half the country on Twitter trolls? I was raised in a conservative household, and while I consider myself independent now, I’m much more likely to vote for Democrats than Republicans. And I’ve stopped and helped many people with their flat tires.
@ethan_grey1738 @OldenDev@13Calendar That rhyme is terrible. The best way to remember is with your knuckles. Make two fists and hold them together. Starting on either end, the high points are 31 day months and the low points are 28/30 day months. It even gets July and August right (both 31).
@sweymouth@barista_ta27411@AIandDesign@tommysantos14 Their purpose was clear, of course. They meant to coerce Congress into overturning the election by any means necessary. That was made abundantly clear through the many videos that they posted to social media on that very day.
