@jonhurwitz just finished season 4 of Cobra Kai. Loved the finale, great set up for more to come.
One small request. Please, please get a Japanese native to check your stuff. The scroll in the dojo was embarrassingly wrong. Even I could write better Japanese than that!
The booking system for vaccinations in Tokyo apparently accepted any random 10 numbers for the vaccination ticket code so anyone could make a reservation, regardless of age or, well, anything. What a joke. https://t.co/lgZ7JOFYGL
@powderbum75@juliaminuma Every time I see a decision from JP Government that is devoid of logic, I am reminded that I'm looking for something that was never there.
Decisions are for the appearance of doing something only. Logic doesn't apply.
@AfroInJapan The Kintetsu company in Chubu did the same. They reduced the number of trains to encourage people not to take them.
Turns out, if you reduce the number of trains without reducing the *need* for them, you end up with more people crammed in one train.
Who would have thought? 🙃
@OsakaJack I also will not eat that udon either 🙃
I reckon many a Japanese person would see that and just despair. Like, "re-evaluate all of their life's decisions until that point" level despair.
I once saw a friend in that despair when they tried "rice pudding" for the first time.
I really dislike Udon. I've hated it for a long time. I've tried to like but just couldn't.
BUUUUUT Ise-Udon in Mie Prefecture is amazing. Dunno how they make it so different but it's actually delicious. The only udon I will accept as a valid answer to liking it.
Decided to teach myself the kip up. I told myself I'll try 30 times and then give up today if I can't do it. When I tried, I sucked. When I stopped trying, I did it twice. Yoda was right. There is only do.
Also I f*cked my back, don't try at home children!
