This morning myself and other well wishers of Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai were at the Federal High Court Kaduna at about 7am, waiting for the court to give verdict on his bail application, only for us to be notified that the Judge has called in sick.

There were clear indications from the last sitting that the judge will grant him bail today. We know what we’re doing in this country.

The President must respect the Nigerian people & uphold the dignity of the Presidency by immediately suspending or relieving Femi Gbajabiamila of his duties as Chief of Staff to the President, pending a full investigation by the EFCC. You can’t attempt to sweep this under the carpets.

President Jonathan relieved Barth Nnaji of his appointment. President Buhari removed David Babachir. Neither was accused of stealing, rather both were removed over what was comparatively a lower offence, conflict of interest.
