🏹 The Merry Men of Sherwood

In 13th century England, while Prince John bled the land dry and the Sheriff of Nottingham enforced his tyranny, a band of outlaws gathered in Sherwood Forest.

They called themselves the Merry Men.

👑 Robin Hood — The leader. A yeoman of Locksley, skilled archer and swordsman. He robbed the rich and gave to the poor.

🪵 Little John — Second-in-command. A giant of a man, seven feet tall. His real name was John Little. He fought Robin with a quarterstaff on a bridge — and earned his place by the leader's side.

⛪ Friar Tuck — The muscle. A fat, jolly Franciscan friar who was a deadly swordsman. He carried Robin across a stream on his back — then drew his sword.

⚔️ Will Scarlet — Robin's nephew. A fine swordsman dressed in silk. Young, fierce, and loyal.

🎵 Allan-a-Dale — The minstrel. He sang the band's stories and fought with a sword when the music stopped. His love was stolen by a knight — Robin rescued her.

🦌 Much the Miller's Son — Youngest of the band. Brave beyond his years.

🏔️ Arthur a Bland — A poacher who joined after wrestling Little John to a draw.

🎯 David of Doncaster — A skilled fighter and scout.

👁️ Will Stutely — The band's scout and spy. Once nearly hanged — Robin saved him in a daring rescue.

🏹 Gilbert of the White Hand — The finest archer after Robin himself.
