This is nonsense. If I was born in Haiti I wouldn't be me. The issue here is not a lack of compassion from our side, but a lack of comprehending basic consequences from yours. These people and their ancestors are part of why Haiti is the way it is, and it is their responsibility to fix it, if it even can be fixed. We gave them shelter during a natural disaster, but they were never meant to stay, and their absence from their home just makes Haiti worse.
