@TELUSsupport Please just pass a message to management that I would like the 2nd sim slot supported through a firmware update as soon as possible. It's a major flaw in the device which doesn't occur when purchasing direct from Sonim. It's something Telus has chosen to do.
@TELUSsupport It's not that they were unable to help, it's that they told me they were escalating it to the support team and would call me back today but never did. So I'm following up here where it's quicker to get a response.

There isn't even a setting anywhere to choose which sim to use for what. The 'sim toolkit' app can be seen installed in the 'apps' settings, but can't be launched from anywhere on the device.
@TELUSsupport Yes. Either sim works fine in slot one. Also both sims work fine in my other dual sim phone. But the Sonim pops up a message on boot saying TWO SIMS DETECTED, SLOT 2 DEACTIVATED.
@TELUSsupport Tech support didn't know what I was getting at either. You know the Sonim XP8 phone your company sells? It's a dual sim phone. But when another sim is inserted in slot two it is deactivated and ignored. Why?
