@FranmilsEyebrow I would argue that both short term and mid-term it is better to get the worthy prospects (Ingle, Watson, et al) up now and let them get the initial rookie experiences out of the way this year, rather than waiting until the next season.
@FB_Helmet_Guy Pete used it on NBC, then he moved to ESPN and Berman as a tribute continued to use that phrase thereafter. Granted, the memory can be fickle. Either way, a hilarious phrase that perfectly fit those two franchises at the time.

@FranmilsEyebrow I thought if a recalled player was replacing someone headed to the IL rather than getting demoted, the 10-day rule was waived as long as it was a hitter-for-hitter or pitcher-for-pitcher type of swap? I could be mistaken but I'm reading the rule right from the MLB site.
