Marrying a second doesn’t inherently entail lying to the first, and even if it did that doesn’t make the action of marrying the second wrong

If you lie about it after the fact then Allahu a3lam, I don’t know, but if it was haram it wouldn’t invalidate the second marriage or make it haram subsequently

@honeydewfae 2. Even if it’s stipulated in the contract that the husband cannot take another wife (2/4 schools say a stipulation like this isn’t even valid for nikkah), he’s not sinful for going against it, it just means the wife can nullify the contract with no consequence

@honeydewfae 1. Nowhere in the fiqh regarding nikkah does it stipulate that you need to inform the previous wife before marrying another. “Justness” is dependent on if it’s haram or not and the burden is on you to demonstrate that, which you still haven’t done.
