@Islamabdulhady@sneako You ran away from the question because you're shit at maths and know your logic forces you to give the wife or parents $0. Who gets the zero? Answer it
@Islamabdulhady@sneako It actually bothers me you're so shit at maths two thirds of 24 IS 16, if you have a budget of $8,100 but total legal claims add up to 27 parts instead of 24 everyones payout scales down so the original ratios are preserved.
@Islamabdulhady@sneako It's just basic math the verses say daughters get 16 shares, parents get 8 and the wife gets 3 (total 27). 16 out of 27 is 59.26%, giving them 50% or 55% would be pulling random numbers out of thin air the text locks in the ratios, the math handles the budget. It's not hard to get
@Islamabdulhady@sneako Retard just leaving out the rest, if you give the daughters $5,400 and the parents their 1/3 ($2,700) you get $8,100. That leaves the wife with $0. Now tell me which Quranic verse says its okay to completely cut off the wife to 0%?
@Islamabdulhady@sneako Where's the alteration? If you scale a recipe down from 4 people to 2, you aren't altering the ingredients your keeping the ratios exactly the same, Umar didn't change the rules he used proportional scaling so that every single heir God mentioned actually got paid. Stop coping.
@Islamabdulhady@sneako Ibn Abbas didnt stick to the text, to give one heir their full share his math forced him to rid another heirβs right, Umarβs method was accepted by the companions because it's the only mathematical way to ensure 100% of the heirs listed in the text actually get paid.
@Islamabdulhady@sneako I know its fruitless to try educate you but whatever god also commanded shares for the parents and wife, if you don't scale it down proportionally you have to cut someone off completely and break a different command, proportional scaling is the only way to honor every heir listed
@Islamabdulhady@sneako It's not a mistake dumbass it's math the text defines the ratios heirs are entitled to not a pie chart, when claims exceed 100% every legal system on earth uses proportional scaling so everyone gets their fair share. Umar just applied that math do some more research.
@jeru_complete@AbuHafsah1 Tahrif has independent basis lol (2:75, 4:46, 5:13, 5:41: concealing, twisting meaning) it's not inferred from contradiction. Classical scholars (Tabari, Abduh) read it as misinterpretation and not textual corruption which is compatible with 5:68's call to observe the Torah/Gospl
@jeru_complete@AbuHafsah1 So you're proving my point the dilemma relies entirely on a christian interpretation of what the Quran says about the Bible. A Muslim doesn't share your premise on scriptural preservation so using your book to judge theirs is a textbook false dilemma
