1st Print Manga is getting harder and harder to find in Japan due to increased demand from the west. Just a few months ago you could still buy good condition ones for just a few dollars. Those days have passed but there are still deals to be found. You still have time.

There is still a lot of opportunity in the English market.

E01 to E03 sets are more common so the focus would be on E01, either full set or key characters at good prices (Gohan, Goku, Broly, Vegeta).

E04 upwards becomes more rare while E06-E08 are the hardest to find.

Look over on cardmarket and the silver promos are still sitting for €0.32.

For those priced out of the Gohan SB02-007 and Bulma SB01-057 but want a winner promo from a Manga series event then your next best option is the FP-049 promos.
Winner gold foils can still be found for $20-30 while the top 8 standard foil can still be found for as cheap as $1

Purchased 8 sealed 1st Print Volumes of Dragon Ball Super Vol 24. The final manga that Akira Toriyama had direct input had. Cover features key characters in their strongest forms. Toyotarou stated he spent far too much time on this cover and would not want to repeat this process

When the Japanese start doing buybacks on certain cards, you have a small window to look into the English card markets and find mispriced items before everyone catches up.

Right now they've been focused on Gold Energy Markers.
Lots of good buys on E-01 to E-03 sets.
