@mitchlafon I still can’t believe how bad the most recent Van Hagar remasters sound. They barely sound different to the originals. The versions they released in Japan in the “Forever Young” series years ago, sound so much better.
@TheRajGiri Hulk defended the title in 1984 more times alone than Austin did his entire “run” and he had 33 million people watching him on NBC. They made more money in the attitude era because there was way more revenue streams, but Austin isn’t even the same ballpark as a pop culture icon.
@FirstNameJ0hn@PWPNation Yeah, many fans don’t remember, but they got along well for a long time. Bret’s attitude changed once Hulk’s first book came out and Hulk talked about how Bret wasn’t a draw and didnt deserve the high money WCW paid him. Bret has been salty ever since that.
@TheArmstreet@MarkinOut@WilliamKliskey@JeremyCom Exactly! I mean, why not give some random NXT jobber a heel gimmick that’s a high level card collector? He can bring out a Michael Jordan rookie and Mickey Mantle cards to ringside each week! Then those can be considered wrestling memorabilia too!
@MarkinOut@WilliamKliskey@JeremyCom It literally isn’t wrestling memorabilia 🥴🥴it’s a whole other fandom much bigger than wrestling and that sale had absolutely zero to do with pro wrestling, but you know that.
@RealFreeBrowny Brandon thurston said a while ago Dave’s AEW ppv numbers were a lot higher than ones he sees. Maybe he could help with the real numbers? Dave’s numbers being too high was always common sense to a lifelong wrestling fan who grew up having to buy month-to-month pay-per-views.
@CJC9BOSS NFL players get paid absurd amounts, but they still seem like they are in it to WIN. NBA players get absurd amounts and they seem like they just all want to be butt buddies and play the least amount of time possible. None of them seem to care about winning the big one. Sad.
@WrestlingCovers How much longer is the wrestling world going to keep up the charade that Santana is anything other than a generic mid carder at best 🤦♂️
