It is? It didn't occur to me at the time to use c++ instead of assembly. But c++ or even java could have been used for the point/parody I making regarding the original post.
Software engineering != Writing code
Writing the real code is already automatic.
AI lifts the abstraction again but it doesn't render a developers skills obsolete as OP suggests.
@MattWalshBlog Do you know about DH?! You should.
You'd like their lyrics

@AuronMacintyre
Thats true! Paul did not meet Jesus.
But Paul most likely did meet Peter and other apostles who did meet Jesus.
Paul not meeting Jesus is a great point when trying to show Christianity and its supernatural claims are false. But it does not refute the timeline regarding his letters.
The Paul letters and other non-christian sources (Josephus) show this claim
> "Christianity was invented generations after the death of the itinerant carpenter"
Is just not true. (See also pontius pilate stone, Pliny's Letters, and the Alexamenos graffito)
@demonhunterband STGOH my introduction to DH. Deluxe is only version worth getting. Every track is great.
Sixteen and Grand Finale are the best songs ever created ever!
Need acoustic version of STGOH ๐.
And 4k version of fading away?
Thanks DH . Don't stop making music!
@michaelgrosser@gixxerblade@unclebobmartin@tinkerdaev Exactly. The automation paradox. As if writing the actual code wasn't already automatic via compilers. Writing code is easy. Writing code for the real world not so much. People who can solve technical problems will always be in demand.
Software engineering != Writing code.
@gixxerblade@sean_plus_one@unclebobmartin@tinkerdaev "Nearly all engineering has been solved"
It has? There are always unsolved problems in all fields. Management never wants to deal with technical details.
As you automate human input matters more not less. (see automation paradox). Engineering is more important than ever.
