Patients shouldn't be having to repeatedly call their psychiatrists to get their psychiatrists to contact GP surgeries or they won't renew medication scripts. It's been a problem for awhile, no doubt cos of huge pressure on tier 2, but it's getting worse and it's super stressing.
@Shrink_at_Large The supply of my meds was unreliable. This would have been more stressful if I'd believed that the meds were working for me. I came out of 'Severe Bipolar Depression' too fast for it to have been the meds working. So I stopped taking them, and I'm now as good as I've ever been.
Stop the rollout of Oxevision and other invasive surveillance in psychiatric hospitals - please the petition and campaign to STOP the introduction of things that impinge on patients human rights without sufficient evidence or survivor consultation https://t.co/bhlUqfD572
Proceeds go to @MindCharity, who, in this mixed up world, are more needed than ever. I've covered The Drowning Man, a song I've loved forever and which got me through some difficult times as a lost young woman. @LolTolhurst@RobertSmith
Indigenous societies are extraordinarily diverse & there’s a lot to learn from them. But they're at the mercy of racism, land theft & genocidal violence.

Vladimir Putin looks like a blundering thug in the hollowed-out gangland to which he has reduced Russia. The Wagner Group mutiny has exposed his growing weakness
The West has never escalated in anything during the entire course of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Neither has Ukraine. Russia continues to escalate. If we don't sufficiently arm Ukraine, millions of people will die and Ukraine will be wiped off the face of this earth. And Russia will not stop at Ukraine. Then, it will indeed turn into World War 3. Smelling our lack of resolve, countries like China could very well join in on Russia's side. To prevent that from happening, we need to fully arm Ukraine to fight this war on our behalf, so long as NATO is unwilling to get involved by annihilating all Russian troops on the Ukrainian territory, which is still the simplest no-brainer solution.
So short-sighted to close ticket offices. Machines aren't always reliable & this will make travel harder for 1000s with mobility issues. Why can't Govt focus on making rail affordable & punctual? I've signed @ABCommuters' letter urging an intervention 👇

POV: You’re a station I’m trying to use and I need to buy the 50% wheelchair discount, but I can’t because the ticket office is closed and TVMs don’t sell them.
Object to the closures now: https://t.co/FV0OhcGuGU

🚨 Former US officials Richard Haas, Charles Kupchan, Thomas Graham, and Mary Beth Long among others held "secret" meetings with Lavrov in April to manipulate official US policy to give away Ukrainian territory to Russia. This is illegal under US law. https://t.co/YSXQ2H3jVX
💬 @carla_denyer: “I understand all too well that council budgets have been brutally cut by 13 years of Conservative government austerity and there is no fat left to trim.
“But of all the cuts, cutting funding for the CTRS must be one of the cruellest.”

The MU is also very concerned about these cuts to funding for culture in Bristol.
We’ve written to the Mayor Marvin Rees to highlight the issue and to arrange a meeting to try and resolve this.
“It’s the same mix of people who frankly don’t seem to understand that you can go out for a drink with people and not grope them”
Labour MP Stella Creasy says the culture at Westminster needs to be tackled to solve the problem of inappropriate behaviour.
