Our team has worked very hard to bring this platform to life over the past couple of years, and we have endless appreciation for all the users and partners who joined us on the journey and took a chance on what we built.

Unfortunately, the expenses of maintaining the platform outweigh the revenue it generates, and it has reached a point where we can no longer afford to keep it afloat.

As a new start-up, we made plenty of mistakes along the way, and we will own that. We certainly wish the outcome had been different, but we are going to do our best to wrap up this chapter of MVHQ, the right way.

Saga One
- A snapshot of the final leaderboard was taken last night.
- We will be distributing 100M $HQ from the Community Allocation to Saga One participants, based on leaderboard position.
- We will provide further update when these distributions take place

Saga Zero Streams
- 100% of the Bonus Pool will be distributed to Saga Zero streamers. (Around 54M $HQ)
- We will provide further update when the distributions take place

$HQ Token
As alluded to above; our resources have vastly dwindled. We simply do not have the funds or manpower to develop upon/support the HQ token. It makes myself and the team sick that we are at this point. We had planned for HQ to be an integral part of our ecosystem, but developmental roadblocks and decreasing revenue hindered our efforts until it was too late. If it is any consolation, the vast majority of our team invested their personal funds into the token and shared in the same financial losses as community investors. All of this being said, we will be making the following steps to do what we can for the HQ community and investors:

- We will be burning 130M tokens from the Team Allocation. This is 13% of supply and just over half of Team Allocation.
- Additionally, we will be burning 70M tokens from the Ecosystem Allocation. Bringing total HQ supply burn to 20%.
- We will be doubling the remaining investor allocation, beginning in November. This will be around 55M additional tokens and will come from Ecosystem Allocation.
- Finally, we will be sending the remaining amount of the Community Allocation (160M) to our Discord community's Community Fund wallet to be used at our community's discretion.

Additional Updates
- We will be suspending the monthly subscription option for discord membership. The only way to become a member of the discord will be to hold the membership NFT.
- The VA service for Whale members has unfortunately come to an end due to lack of funds. More details in the Whale channel.
- We will be closing down the hq-holder chat channel

Future of MVHQ
We are going back to our roots. Metaverse HQ started back in 2021 as a private group of like-minded individuals that wanted to explore the web3 space and win together. Our goal is to re-capture that ethos and get back to what made early MVHQ so special. Our 100% focus going forward will be on our Discord community.

The remaining staff will continue on a voluntary basis because they love MVHQ and want to see it thrive once more. We are thankful to them and to those who are departing, who've given so much over the years. And thank you to everyone who has joined us & contributed to our journey.
