I came for the jpegs, too. That era was incredibly, undeniably fun.

And there's been a lot of other fun stuff since then, too.

But crypto's a lot more than memes, apps, or NFTs.

It's about a new financial system. A better financial system.

A system that creates fairer, more efficient markets. That anyone can access with a smartphone and internet connection.

24 / 7 / 365

A system that gives individuals control over their financial lives (for the first time ever).

A system that is by the people and for the people.

Neutral and open.

It's the financial system of freedom.

This future is not going to happen on a chain with a single sequencer.

But what does that actually look like?

It's not going to happen on a system that's controlled by a single, centralized operator.

It's not going to be a blockchain whose validators are run by a consortium of the largest public companies in the world.

If it does, crypto has simply failed.

To win, it has to be different.

It must be fair (neutral, permissionless, decentralized, MEV resistant).

It must be scalable (people / businesses need to be able to use it efficiently).

It must be secure and reliable (post-quantum ready, 0 downtime).

It needs to have privacy. (freedom, but also institutional privacy, lest you alienate the majority of business use cases)

And it needs shared liquidity.

Getting all of this on one system is the hardest problem in crypto.

It is also a once in many lifetimes opportunity.

Let's go get it.
