@Reuters People are going to be concerned about Fifa's independence?!? I would be more concerned about their integrity as everybody knows Fifa hasn't had any for a long time.
@GraemeEdgeler So consider a NZ/Oz citizen. Oz has compulsory voting. So to be able to vote in NZ, the citizen would either have to break the law or repudiate his citizenship?
@MHReddell Thought it might be Jim Anderton or Nanaia Mahuta but the former was well-behaved and the later wasn't a minister at the time of the Foreshore and Seabed.
@EricCrampton Get your daughter to ask Fable for loopholes in the proposed US ban on foreigners using it and use those. You are not jailbreaking Fable, you are asking it for flaws in an external document which is its core purpose, no?
@PronouncedHare Labor really needs to lift their game. The attack figures on the cost of their bus fare policy were spat out by an AI in less than five seconds. At the very least, if they don't spend a token or two to troubleshoot their financial proposals, they are unfit for government.
@Mykuhl On reddit, they are pointing to the half price Covid scheme which costed the same as the proposed cap. But that was for six months and before the inflation surge.
I get the feeling they are just spitballing numbers and hoping people don't look too closely.
@PronouncedHare But Don Brash had been a National Party candidate before his appointment as Reserve Bank governor. Helen Clark would have at least known that he had lost to Gary Knapp of Social Credit!
