State-of-the-Art Control Room at Swasthya Bhawan

Taking a decisive step toward a transparent and broker-free healthcare system in West Bengal, today a High-Tech Control Room has been inaugurated at the Swasthya Bhawan.
This facility will serve as the central hub for monitoring all Government Hospitals across the State in real-time.
Our mission is clear: to eliminate the menace of the "Dalal Raj" that has plagued our Hospitals for too long.

Through advanced surveillance and analytical monitoring, we will now track unusual activities and patterns within hospital premises. If individuals are found loitering without purpose or cause, they will be promptly identified and dealt with according to the law.
To further ensure safety & security of Healthcare Professionals & Patients and to streamline Hospital Operations, we are introducing a new Badge System, so that People can clearly be identified and segregated as per their their purpose in the vicinity.
By segregating the crowd, we will easily distinguish those who have no business being on Hospital premises.

I have personally visited several Hospitals and witnessed the dedicated service of our Doctors, Nurses and Health Workers. They deserve a safe, secure and professional environment. We are committed to provide that.
This is a significant shift toward a safer, technology-driven and patient-centric Healthcare system for the people of West Bengal.

শুনে রাখুন, নতুন পশ্চিমবঙ্গে যেমন ধর্ষণকারী, নারী ও শিশুদের নির্যাতনের মতো ঘৃণ্য অপরাধের সঙ্গে যুক্ত ব্যক্তিদের রেয়াত করা হবে না, কঠোরতম শাস্তি দেওয়া হবে, ঠিক তেমনই বর্তমান সরকারের আমলে কোনো নিষ্পাপ, নিরপরাধীকে পিটিয়ে মারার অপরাধে যুক্ত সকল অপরাধীদেরও ভারতীয় ন্যায় সংহিতার বিধান অনুসারে আইনি ব্যবস্থার মধ্যে এনে কঠিনতম শাস্তি দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা এই সরকার করবে। ভিড়ের আড়ালে লুকিয়ে থেকে সংঘবদ্ধ হয়ে অপরাধ ঘটানোর দিন শেষ। আইনি উপায়ে এমন অপরাধীদের শেষ দেখে ছাড়বে এই নতুন সরকার।

To ensure absolute Public Safety, the new Suryapur Police Rural Outpost was inaugurated in Baruipur today. Following the demands raised by local residents and grieving families during my recent visits to Baruipur, swift action has been taken as was assured to them for enhancement of security.

Within just four days of that assurance, this fully functional Police Outpost has been established to bring Law Enforcement closer to the People. Along with the deployment of additional personnel, the entire area will be brought under complete CCTV surveillance by next week.

Our Government remains fully dedicated to providing a secure and fearless environment for every Citizen of West Bengal. Strict and uncompromising steps will be taken to root out all social evils and ensure that peace prevails.

It was my privilege to lay the foundation stone for the state-of-the-art Lux Cozi manufacturing facility in Dankuni, Hooghly.
I was pleased to be joined on this occasion by Hon'ble Industry Minister Shri Tapas Roy, Hon'ble Rajya Sabha MP Shri Samik Bhattacharya, the Chairman of Lux Industries Shri Ashok Todi and other esteemed dignitaries.

With a massive investment of ₹600 crore, this project is more than just infrastructure; it is a promise of opportunity. This expansion is set to create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, empowering our local youth and strengthening our economy.

This is a signal to the World that West Bengal is open for business, innovation and growth.
Such projects will define our path toward a prosperous, industry-led future.

Visited the Giant Tortoise Enclosure at the Seychelles National Botanical Garden with President Dr. Patrick Herminie.

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise, which is native to Seychelles, is among the largest and longest-living species on Earth, with some of them witnessing over two centuries of history.

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise also have an association with the special friendship between India and Seychelles. In 2014, two of them were gifted to the Alipore Zoo in Kolkata. A few years later, Seychelles gifted a few more tortoises to Hyderabad Zoo.
