@GlassOnionMin The cinematic effect in minute 68 is rack focusing, when the camera deliberately changes focus between different subjects in a continuous shot. “Split diopter” is having different parts of the frame, at very different distances from the camera, all be in focus.

Re @GlassOnionMin #47, if you watched a lot of Loony Toons or Tom & Jerry cartoons, you would’ve seen dickys. It’s always when one of them dresses up for a concert, and as the action gets going, their outfits start to come apart, and the dicky, cuffs and collars come off.

@fuckyouiquit Lived in Austria for years where there’s no automatic tipping, and service is great, but not “friendly” in the American sense. Also, kids can start vocational training as a server, start work full time at 16, and retire with a pension when their knees go out. It’s a proper job.
