What if you became so famous that someone from your past couldn't go anywhere without seeing your face?
That's part of the wonderfully over-the-top fantasy behind Leyla Ebrahimi's new single “star.”
With gritty guitars, energetic drums, and a healthy dose of ambition, Ebrahimi delivers an alt/indie rock track that's as entertaining lyrically as it is musically.
Blurred Culture digs into the song's playful take on fame, romantic uncertainty, and the desire to be seen.
Does Leyla Ebrahimi have what it takes to become a star? There's certainly something worth paying attention to.

Hello everyone! This is Sandra Brunson, @jalenbrunson1’s mom. Usually, I send my son a text message before every game.
But tonight he gets his championship ring!
So I wrote him this letter. https://t.co/DuocjjVpDI
Sometimes it takes a live performance to completely change how you hear an artist.
After witnessing @SWJMusic's unforgettable performance at @TheOhanaFest, including an incredible rendition of Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike" alongside @eddievedder, Blurred Culture's @methodman13 couldn't stop thinking about the artist he'd perhaps overlooked for far too long.
Now, with the release of two new singles, "yellow brick home" and "Exorcisms on the Weekend," he's digging deeper into Wilson Jr.'s catalog and discovering an artist whose music defies easy categorization, blending country storytelling with the grit, vulnerability, and emotional intensity of '90s grunge and alternative rock.
Maybe country and grunge aren't so different after all.

Hey @saylor Berkshire Hathaway closed Oct 16 at $798,000 for Class A and $532 for Class B. The A shares have never been split. The B shares are the liquid trading vehicle. One A converts one-way into 1,500 B shares; B cannot convert back. Voting is disproportionately concentrated in A.
Strategy can do the same with three classes.
Leave existing Class A (the public MSTR shares) static. No further issuance. No splits. One-way conversion only into the new "C"class.
Leave existing Class B (the super-voting shares) completely untouched.
Create a new Class C at 1/5 to 1/10 the economic claim of Class A. All future ATMs, employee equity, and capital raises happen only in Class C. When Class C runs up, split only Class C.
Class A becomes the scarce, sticky instrument that long-term holders can keep forever. Class C absorbs the trading, the options market, and any future dilution. The precedent is Berkshire. The difference is that one class is permanently protected from further share-count inflation while the other is designed to be split and issued as needed. https://t.co/cyW50Dw1Jv
