In solidarity with the #metoo movement that has started in India we would be retweeting and sharing accounts of victims who have been brave enough to come out..
Let’s assume majority Keralities oppose SC order on Sabarimala.
When Rammohun Roy campaigned to ban Sati, whole ‘Hindu India’ opposed him . So what?
Q: if majority has a position which
is socially reactionary, what should our moral responsibility be ? Think about it friends.
Few questions to the Kerala HC.
1. Why did you grant Bishop Franco bail?
2. Why not wait for the chargesheet?
3. There is proof he and his cronies have intimidated, threatened and tried to bribe the nuns.
4. He is definitely going to do whatever he can to destroy evidence
I’m sorry that my silence is being interpreted as my support to any of the accused. Let me just say that I unequivocally support #metoo & the need for justice. Not because I have a mother, sisters or nieces but simply because it’s the correct & only thing to do.
By the way, why is the Cong leadership and it’s Mahila wing so muted on @mjakbar ? Is it because he was once one of ‘their’ own in the party? Or is it, as i often say, iss hamam mein sab nange hain? 😢
Bangalore and Madras,
Young women who have left ad agencies with toxic environments are looking for work. Can you take a leaf out of Bombay and reply to this thread if you have jobs in offer?
Same for yoga centres (beautiful story here, I'll tell you later) and journalists.
My wife faces a union minister, his 97 lawyers. It takes special courage to do that, i write, as i try to match that courage. The consequences of sexual harassment have fallen entirely on India’s women. The men must step up or step aside. https://t.co/6xY5XsrU06
Leena Manimekalai on Susi Ganesan

Glad she spoke up.
Requesting other women to speak up.
Find the courage.
We have it in us now.
Thank you for this @MissMalini@MasalaBai and all of you who are working round the clock to make sure women get the justice, the help they need. #MeTooIndia
I am overwhelmed by the support by both women and men. Before I published the piece, I was nervous, anxious and scared. This morning I felt empowered and calm. No matter what comes my way, I know I will be OK. https://t.co/BEsh7931lO
On being questioned about the government’s stoic silence on the serious nature of allegations against his colleague, #MJAkbar, guess what Union Minister Piyush Goyal did .... *stayed silent* & of course looked the other way. #MeToo
@IndiaMeToo Hey @IndiaMeToo Pl. support my petition at @ChangeOrg_India to @MinistryWCD that instructs companies to declare info of their Anti Sexual Harassment Cell members’ on their websites. Access to this the first step towards securing justice for these women.
