Mike Francesa's report about the Mets trying to trade Francisco Lindor in the next couple of weeks seems like a bit of a reach, says @Ken_Rosenthal.
"With all due respect to Mike, he is not a beat reporter, and I haven't seen this from any of the beat reporters."
Let’s take the word of a pompous blowhard who hasn’t stepped foot in a major league clubhouse in 20 years to tell us how things are in a major league clubhouse.
@BronxMetFan@CalmYourMitts Going off the word of a convicted felon and a washed up hack that hasn’t stepped foot in a major league clubhouse in over 30 years.
@01Starblazer I’m cool with fans expressing themselves and carrying signs .I’m not cool when fans around him are complaining that he was ruining their day at the ballpark . He was belligerent and was asked to be more considerate to paying customer around him. Unfortunately , he refused.
@yMets00@Buster_ESPN This was more about Buster using his anti Mets bias to make this a bigger deal than it is. Agree I would’ve gladly taken that from DP in a Mets uniform this year.
Carlos Mendoza is a good guy and he will get another job. But he's not just a scapegoat here, he wasn't good a manager. He was poor in-game in pretty much every area you would think to evaluate a manager.
