Don’t let them re-write history: Gloria Steinem was a CIA asset who was tasked with subverting the feminist movement away from class-based analysis.

She founded the Independent Research Service that was funded by the CIA to spread anti-communist propaganda at youth festivals abroad.

When she was exposed as a CIA operative in 1967, Steinem confirmed her role to The New York Times without apology, claiming the CIA is “liberal, nonviolent, and honorable” and that she would do it again.

The CIA is one of the most violent organizations in history.

This is a real disaster threatening our lives in the displacement camps.

Our children can no longer sleep because of the constant bites, and fear follows us day and night in tents that provide neither safety nor protection.

Our suffering is no longer limited to displacement, hunger, and the extreme summer heat. Insects and reptiles have become an additional danger, threatening our health and safety every single day.

We are living in conditions unfit for human beings, and urgent action is needed to protect the thousands of families facing these risks in displacement camps.

This sounds nice, but it's a great way to undermine the welfare state.

The strongest welfare states in the world (the Nordics) tax everyone, including nurses. And they give everyone universal healthcare, childcare, pensions, education in return.

When the middle class has skin in the game, they defend the system. When welfare is 'just for the poor', it becomes a poor program: stigmatized, underfunded, easy to gut.

That's why billionaires keep pushing this idea. The real scandal isn't that this nurse pays $12k.

It's that Jeff Bezos pays $0.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) is a secular, Marxist-Leninist Palestinian political and armed resistance organization, currently the third-largest faction in Gaza. Founded in 1967 by George Habash, the group had expanded into broad sectors of Palestinian civil society by the 1990s.

The PFLP links labor struggle to national liberation, arguing the fight against Israel is fundamentally a class struggle. It views the “Arab bourgeoisie” as unreliable, accusing regional elites of aligning with imperialism over popular interests. In the 1970s, the PFLP formed an alliance with the Japanese Red Army (JRA) and together carried out the 1972 Lod Airport operation. The JRA viewed Palestine as the "spark" for a global revolution.

The group also recruited foreign revolutionaries, including Ilich Ramírez Sánchez (the notorious "Carlos the Jackal") and Nicaraguan-American Patrick Argüello, who died while attempting a hijacking with Leila Khaled in 1970.

PFLP is the second-largest faction within the PLO after Fatah, and the largest left-wing group in the umbrella body. It has lately been boycotting the PLO’s Executive Committee and the Palestinian National Council in protest of Fatah’s leadership and policies.
