@BrainAblaze Yes, I hide it instinctually, but I did end up having a spoon shoved in my mouth once. He had no remorse afterwards. Still, I feel the shame, I was made to feel it was my fault. I still cry over that. I have to work up the courage to tell people and I still have not told my kids.

This labour, altho not contributing economically it benefits the community hugely and is nearly always undervalued/ discounted completely.
