Temporary basting allows the cutter to adjust balance, posture and silhouette before the garment is permanently finished.
An essential stage in the bespoke process.

The lapel padding stitch is added while hand rolling the lapel to ensure it follows the chest contour.

Ceremonial coats require unwavering structure.
The collar is formed by hand, reinforced with buckram linen which is also found in book spines and set under weight to ensure it sits cleanly and carries the necessary presence.

This ceremonial epaulette belongs to one of the Military Knights of Windsor, an honourable body of retired officers who serve at St Georgeโs Chapel within Windsor Castle. Tailored by hand, the gold detailing reflects centuries of royal tradition.
