The power of order and the power of jurisdiction are not the same thing.
Being a heretic and teaching heresy in what is supposed to be the Magisterium are also not the same thing.

@timsoret A lot of it comes down to baked lighting/shading that would be pretty hard to approach in realtime. You'd probably want some sort of custom shader. But I agree this would be cool.
