In the historic Portinari Chapel at Milan’s Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio, Vincenzo Foppa’s 15th-century fresco reveals one of the most dramatic religious visions in art history.

The painting shows the Virgin Mary tenderly holding the Christ Child, yet both bear small, unmistakable horns on their foreheads.

This unusual image captures a real 13th-century vision: A demon appeared in Milan disguised as the Blessed Virgin Mary, deceiving the faithful and spreading heresy. Many were drawn to this false apparition.

But St. Peter of Verona (St. Peter Martyr), a courageous Dominican preacher, saw through the illusion. Armed with deep faith, he confronted the demonic vision, raised the Holy Eucharist, and commanded it to reveal its true nature.

The false Madonna was forced to show its horns before vanishing in a foul cloud of smoke and stench.

Foppa painted this scene to preserve the miracle, a powerful reminder that evil can disguise itself as holy, and that true discernment comes through faith in Christ.

As I was driving to work this morning, God reminded me of this video that was posted 15 years ago . If this ain’t enough for you to believe that JESUS IS REAL 😮‍💨 this Babygirl was 8 months in this video, but was in a coma since she was 2 months old due to being abused by a babysitter. She was in the hospital, and despite the doctor’s wishes, the mother took the baby to church. BY HER FAITH , GOD PERFORMED! 🙌🏽
